On a recent visit to Valley Green Inn, after Hurricane Irene, we stopped to visit the locals.  Children stopped & gave Sonny a "Special Equine Spa Treatment", for which he happily stood silent & still. The girls proceeded to braid his mane,tail & forelock, all while he stood as the young boys touched his legs & belly.  Sonny was a good boy that evening and got special treats after returning to the barn.  

On April 19^th and 20^th Charity Paashaus, a certified 2 Star Parelli Instructor  from Willow Brook Natural Horsemanship Center, taught an Intro to Level 1 Parelli Natural Horsemanship.

Based on respect for and love of horses – and understanding horse nature and psychology – the Parelli method enables anyone at any level to have fun with horses and achieve amazing results...naturally. Parelli horse training avoids using force, fear, harsh bits or mechanical training aids in favor of love, language and leadership or, said another way: relationship, communication and trustworthiness.
