Elmer is one of two farriers we use. I took some pictures of him while he was working on my boy Kazi. Kazi's right front hoof is clubbed and Elmer has been able to make significant improvements to it over the past year.
Shaping the club foot hoof.
Driving the nails out of a reusable shoe.
Fitting the shoe.
More shaping. 
Heating up the shoe in the oven.

Getting the right fit.
I think Kazi likes Elmer.
Kazi is relaxed as Elmer works.
Last one and almost done. Kazi is good to go!
