The weather was perfect today for a little equine activity. Spring has finally shown signs of returning!

Walt teaches a horsmanship class registered through Mount Airy Learning Tree. Today he introduced some of the basics to one of his students who has never been around horses before.
Cleaning hoofs looks easy, and it is when Walt's teaching you how! :)
Horses have a blind spot between their eyes. They rely on other senses to tell them what's there. Believe it or not, there's a right way and a wrong way to brush a horse's face.

Cynthia and Sonny go on trail riding vacations throughout the year. Cynthia has a portable paddock and brought it out of storage to make sure it's working properly. Looks like Sonny couldn't be happier!
